Course Overview:

The rise of noninvasive procedures has shifted the aesthetic culture. Patients now are asking for less invasive, less painful, less expensive procedures with short recovery times. Thread-lifts are one of the newest approaches to nonsurgical facial lifting & tightening.

It is an easy, fast, in-office procedure in which absorbable barbed or unbarbed suture thread is inserted into the skin through a very small incision, for the purpose of full-face rejuvenation & lifting. The latest techniques can even provide lifting for nose region, rejuvenation of the under-eye area, as well as the correction of the lip border lines.

Similar to fillers that provide a “liquid face-lift,” the downtime is minimal. Offering thread lifting for your practice is a natural progression of services needed for a successful aesthetic practice as these procedures are gaining significant popularity among patients day by day.

The cost of thread lifting procedure costs an average 1,500 - 4,000 USD and can easily be incorporated with your other aesthetic offerings in the practice. The cost to incorporate thread lifting within your practice is relatively small as it is heavily technique based procedure. And, Patient satisfaction concerning this new procedure is very high because of the results that are able to be achieved.

• History of the thread lifting technique 

• Mapping out basic science and principles of the technique based on an anatomical study of facial structures 

• Uncovering benefits, indications & limitations of the thread lifting 

• Comparison study: Thread Lifting Vs. Surgical Face Lifting, when to use which? 

• Introducing PDO Thread lifting and its advanced version: PCL Thread Lifting (2 Yrs absorbable threads) 

• Further understanding of the  different types of threads and their respective advantages 

• Patient selection criteria 

• Design for each part of thread lift: V line/ nasolabial fold/ marionette line/ eyebrow & eye angle/ neck/ upper-arm/ nose

• Case 4.  Combination of Hiko PCL Thread Lifting and fillers for non-surgical nose lifting, bridge enhancement, and nasal augmentation
