February 16, 2016

The nose threads used are called PDO (polydixanone) and they are completely absorbed over time. As they dissolve, these ultra-fine threads create new tissue fibroblasts and collagen, giving a tightening effect and further enhancing the nose contour.

Possible Results to Expect with PDO Nose Thread Lift:

Straighter Contour Definition

Raising the Nose Bridge

Lifting the Nose Tip

Narrowing the Nose Ala

How long do the Effects Last?

The results can last from 1 to 2 years. Repeated treatments are possible and yields even better results.

Advantages of Thread Lift vs Dermal Filler

– Thread Lift last longer (up to 2 years), filler 6 – 12 months

– Thread Lift more structured feel as it is solid, filler more 'rounded' feel as it is liquid gel form.

– Thread Lift stays where it is inserted, filler may 'migrate' to surrounding areas as it is liquid.

– Thread Lift can shape nose bridge as well as nose tip, but filler can only heighten the bridge
